Paladin’s journey is one marked by God’s grace and transformation. Born and raised in Austin, Texas, he experienced firsthand the confusion and hurt that can come from a home marked by conflict and broken patterns. A self-described “forgotten ADHD kid,” Paladin knows what it feels like to be unseen, undisciplined, and misunderstood. Yet through every challenge, God was planting seeds of resilience, discipline, and faith that would one day shape his calling.

After years of military service and ministry as a deacon, Paladin came to understand that true strength begins with surrender—to God, to truth, and to love. His marriage to Pillar became both his greatest challenge and his greatest testimony. Through seasons of infidelity, dishonesty, and complacency, God used grace and forgiveness to rebuild what was once broken. Together, Paladin and Pillar discovered that the same power that restores hearts can also restore homes.

Today, they serve as Christian marriage counselors who walk beside men and couples seeking healing, direction, and hope. Their approach is grounded in Scripture and shaped by lived experience, offering practical guidance rooted in spiritual truth. Whether helping a husband rediscover his role as protector and leader, or guiding a couple to rebuild trust and unity, Paladin and Pillar’s mission remains clear: to help families break generational cycles, strengthen their covenant, and reflect the love of Christ in their homes.

Through counseling, mentorship, and prayer, they invite couples to pursue a legacy of faith, forgiveness, and lasting love—one marriage at a time.

Cha'Von 'Pillar' Barlow

Pillar’s life is a testimony of grace, purpose, and God’s redeeming love. Born in Houston and raised in Lake Jackson, Texas, she grew up in a home where faith and family were deeply intertwined. Even as her family endured seasons of church hurt, her parents remained steadfast in their devotion to God—teaching her the power of faithfulness through pain. Her grandmother often reminded her that she was “anointed by God,” words that would one day prove true in ways she could not yet see.

As a young woman, Pillar wrestled with rejection, insecurity, and the pressure to please others. Though she tried to blend in, she eventually discovered that she was not meant to fit the world’s mold. It was in Austin, Texas, that she encountered Jesus for herself and began to understand her identity in Him—set apart, chosen, and loved. Her 20s brought a season of wandering, but through it she found that life apart from Christ left only emptiness. That realization ignited a deep intimacy with God and a passion for helping others experience His transforming grace.

Marriage became one of Pillar’s greatest teachers. Through seasons of testing, she learned the beauty of humility, forgiveness, and surrender—discovering that marriage is not merely a union between two people, but a sacred reflection of Christ’s relationship with His Church. Ephesians 5 became her anchor, shaping her understanding of covenant, order, and purpose. As she walked alongside her husband, Paladin, she embraced her calling as a helper, encourager, and intercessor, learning to see marriage as ministry and worship.

Pillar brings a unique blend of compassion and real-world experience to her counseling. Her work with MHMR patients and those battling mental illness taught her patience and empathy, while her professional background in real estate and cosmetology instilled discipline, service, and creativity. Today, she pours those gifts into her ministry, helping couples rediscover the beauty of covenant love.

Alongside Paladin, Pillar’s mission is clear: to help couples break generational curses, strengthen their marriages, and build legacies that glorify God. She challenges husbands and wives to “check their altar”—to realign their hearts with Christ—because only there can true transformation begin. Together, Paladin and Pillar guide families to live in unity, walk in obedience, and reflect the unshakable love of Jesus in their homes.
